Principles to Promote the Reliability and Security of the Interconnected Power Systems of the U.S. and Mexico
January 11, 2017On January 7, 2017, U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz traveled to Mexico City to sign high-level, non-binding bilateral principles for reliability between the United States and Mexico with Mexico's Secretary of Energy Pedro Joaquin Coldwell, U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Chairman Norman Bay, Mexican Energy Regulatory Commission Chairman Guillermo Ignacio Garcia Alcocer, and the Mexican National Center for Energy Control Director Eduardo Meraz Ateca.
